The Connections Groups are growing and tomorrow, Wed. 9/20/23, the formation meeting is being held for the new South County Connections Group.  Networking starts at 7:45 am at the Whitman Center, 7777 Lewis Avenue, Temperance, MI.  Get in on the ground floor and see first-hand how connecting with other local businesses can strengthen and grow yours!   

 

The Alliance Connections Groups are now active in both, Monroe and South County (Temperance) with more on the way.  Please reach out if you would like more information as to how these small, targeted groups can help you create connections, get referrals, and fast track your business goals.

All four Link Plan 2.0 Pillar Teams met individually in August to continue developing action items and strategies.  The next Pillar Team Summit #2 is scheduled for October 6th when each Pillar Team will focus on finalizing their work.  OHM consultants will facilitate the workshops.

Starting Oct. 1, 2023:

  • Residential customers who wish to use with a credit or debit card will pay an additional $2.99/transaction, up to $1,000 per transaction.
  • Small business customers, who recently could not pay with a card, will be able to resume card payments with a $9.99/transaction fee, up to $2,500/transaction. 
  • Due to card company policies, card payment methods can no longer be used with auto-pay or text payments. Customers who wish to remain on auto-pay will need to switch to a secure ACH payment through a checking or savings account. 

Customers can continue to make fee-free payments with: 

  • ACH payments
    • Via checking or savings bank account as auto-pay or individual payments through their Consumers Energy customer account online, via phone or through our mobile app.
    • Please note, guest payments through these channels also incur the same fee. Customers should make sure their ACH payment method is stored in their account wallet before making payment to avoid this fee.
  • Cash 
  • Check 
  • Money order  

We understand our small business customers need to have flexible options for their success, and we feel this new program allows for this within the scope of larger efforts to provide reliable, safe and affordable energy.
